This evidence-informed home-study course introduces the biology, psychology, and clinical application of dry needling and microneedling for scar management. Through concise video demonstrations, targeted readings, and quizzes, learners will review wound-healing stages and aberrant scarring (hypertrophic and keloid), examine physiologic mechanisms (biomechanical, chemical, vascular) by which needling influences tissue and healing, and evaluate current clinical evidence.
