Course overview

The Sage Method: Somatic Fascia Flow is a 16 CE hour, NCBTMB-approved, hands-on continuing education course designed for licensed massage therapists seeking to integrate fascia-informed techniques, rhythmic movement, intentional pacing, and nervous system-aware principles into therapeutic bodywork. Students will explore gentle traction, rocking and jostling, Swedish-myofascial techniques, bilateral sequencing, breath pacing, and whole-body integration. The course emphasizes responsive depth without excessive force, helping therapists reduce tension, alleviate chronic holding patterns, improve mobility, and support a greater sense of ease and connection. Instruction includes practical applications for the abdomen, neck, face, scalp, and upper body, including intraoral buccal massage techniques. The course also addresses communication, informed consent, draping, hygiene and glove use, contraindications, therapist body mechanics, and creating a safe and supportive treatment environment. Students will participate in demonstrations, supervised hands-on practice, and technique integration exercises designed for immediate use in professional massage sessions.
