Course overview

You may be helping a person get in and out of bed, transferring someone in or out of a wheelchair or carrying groceries and other supplies. Using proper posture and following the principles of body mechanics will make your job easier and safeguard your health, as well as that of your clients. This instructor led DVD program is designed for agencies to train their employees. Upon completion of this 1 hour training program, the participant will: understand proper posture; understand the principles of body mechanics; recognize the importance of proper posture and proper body mechanics.
