Course overview

This instructor led DVD program is designed for agencies to train their employees. In this 1 hour course, we learn that observation, reporting and documentation are three very important duties for the home care provider. As a care provider, you spend more time with the client than other members of the care team and are more likely to notice daily changes in the client's condition. Observing and reporting changes provides vital information that the nurse and doctor rely upon to make decisions about the client's care. After completing this program, participants will: understand how to develop good observation skills; learn what should be included in observations; recognize what should be reported; understand the procedures for correct documentation.
