Integrative Pelvic Care for Pregnancy prepares pelvic health physical therapists and pelvic health occupational therapists with innovative skills to prepare their pregnant clients' minds and bodies for a comfortable pregnancy and positive birth experience. Through techniques that combine innovate pelvic rehab techniques with complimentary & integrative health practices from Yoga, attendees will learn : - The biochemical process of labor and birth, and the physical, emotional & cognitive preparation necessary to have a positive birth experience. - Physical exercises and cognitive-emotional strategies to improve clients' confidence for labor and delivery. - Movement and manual therapy strategies to assist with maternal pain management and labor preparation - External and internal pelvic manual therapy techniques to manage prenatal discomfort and facilitate ease of birthing.
