This three-hour Infection Control & Safety course is designed to help Ohio nail professionals maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant salon environment. Participants will review current infection control principles, disinfection and sterilization procedures, disease prevention, exposure control, salon safety practices, and Ohio regulations related to protecting clients and practitioners. This course satisfies the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board's three-hour Infection Control & Safety continuing education requirement.

This course is designed to satisfy the three (3) hours of Infection Control & Safety continuing education required by the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board for license renewal.
The course focuses exclusively on infection control, sanitation, safety practices, disease prevention, and applicable Ohio laws and regulations related to maintaining a safe salon environment.
Participants are expected to attend the entire course, actively participate in course activities, and successfully complete the required assessment to receive a Certificate of Completion for three (3) hours of Infection Control & Safety continuing education.
Course completion does not constitute licensure or certification beyond an individual's current Ohio license. It is the responsibility of each licensee to comply with all applicable Ohio laws, rules, and regulations governing the practice of cosmetology and manicuring.
