UNDERSTANDING AND TREATING RHINITIS AND SINUSITIS

Course overview

At some point in every person¿s life, young and old alike, will suffer from rhinitis and sinusitis. According to Medscape, it is estimated that 1 in 7 adults will suffer from sinusitis in a year, totaling 35 million people. Learning to accurately diagnose and treat ubiquitous conditions, which affect every demographic of your practice, forms an important foundation for effective clinicians. In this practical workshop, students will gain a deep understanding of the etiology, pathogenesis and treatment of sinus conditions commonly encountered in clinical practice. Careful discrimination of symptoms, combined with an understanding of the affected channels allows us to accurately diagnose patterns, select formulas and then modify them to maximize clinical results. Treatment strategies to treat the branch symptoms as well as the root causative factors will be discussed The topics covered in the workshop include Allergic Rhinitis, Chronic Rhinitis, Acute and Chronic Sinusitis, as well as related topics, including the treatment of nasal dryness and snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
