HIJACKED HORMONES: HOW PERMACULTURE IS A SOLUTION TO WOMENS HEALTH CHALLENGES
Tracking # 20-428303
Course overview
Hormone dysregulation can lead to many of the illnesses of our modern age including cancer, insulin resistance, PCOS, infertility and even obesity. Major contributors to these diseases include diet as well as environmental toxins, which can act as endocrine disruptors. Permaculture provides a multi-leveled framework that can be successfully applied to this problem. Using hormone dysregulation as a model, we demonstrate that complete healing of the individual requires change on the individual, community and a global scale. Major pathological processes will be discussed in this framework including clinically relevant strategies for change. From grass roots political action to individual choices about food, water, environment and supplements we endeavor to ¿treat the cause¿ and ¿remove the obstacles to cure¿. Drs Andrews and Neuzil apply these global concepts to the problem of hormone dysregulation across a variety of clinical presentations and review specific therapies to restore hormone balance.
