Six-part series exploring trauma in Manual Therapy and CranioSacral Therapy, including historical perspectives; defining trauma-informed care and trauma-specific therapy; core principles such as safety, respect for client autonomy, recognition of trauma's impact, pacing, and avoidance of retraumatization; biological, psychological, and social presentations; interdisciplinary models; clinical application; ethics, scope of practice, referral, supervision, and burnout prevention. Participants will develop a practical understanding of trauma as it relates to manual therapy practice, including CranioSacral Therapy, with attention to historical foundations, contemporary trauma-informed frameworks, ethical considerations, and safe clinical application within professional scope of practice.
