Start courseCourse overview
Fluoroscopy is an underutilized imaging modality in veterinary medicine that provides real-time evaluation of dynamic physiologic processes not readily appreciated with conventional radiography or ultrasonography. This course will focus on the practical applications of fluoroscopy, including videofluoroscopic swallow studies, dynamic airway evaluation, and contrast studies of the lower urinary tract. Participants will learn when fluoroscopy should be considered, how these studies are performed, and how fluoroscopic diagnoses influence medical and surgical decision-making. Emphasis will be placed on recognizing appropriate referral candidates and integrating fluoroscopic findings into everyday clinical practice to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes.
