Course overview

This course provides rehabilitation clinicians with a foundational understanding of mechanical ventilation to optimize clinical decision-making and patient mobility. Participants will explore the principles of oxygenation versus ventilation, types of respiratory failure, indications for mechanical ventilation, and common artificial airways.
