Course overview

Scientific theory is an important foundation for understanding and using High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), but it's just the beginning. This HIIT course will cover the essential theoretical framework behind the why and how of HIIT. Participants will layer in practical knowledge and clinical expertise of exercise to help develop programs that work for the medically complex patient population. After completing this course, participants will be able to create more effective exercise programs for medically complex patients in any setting or age group using the HIIT model of exercise activity.
