Learn moreCourse overview
Neuromusculoskeletal disorders of the upper extremity are commonly seen by rehabilitation professionals, with rotator cuff disorders comprising more than 50% of shoulder conditions and carpal tunnel syndrome having a global incidence of over 14%. Optimizing knowledge of evidence from recently published clinical practice guidelines will give rehabilitation professionals a synthesized review of current best practice for conditions of the upper extremity. This workshop will examine three clinical practice guidelines that focus on rotator cuff-related pathology, lateral elbow pain, and carpal tunnel syndrome. Attendees will be provided with a review of examination and intervention strategies and their correlating level of evidence for each of the regional conditions of the upper extremity.
