Course overview

Glaucoma care is rapidly evolving, with new evidence and technologies influencing how clinicians diagnose, monitor, and manage the disease. This course will review current hot topics in glaucoma, including advances in neuroprotection, evolving selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) treatment paradigms, and the growing role of home intraocular pressure monitoring. The session will also explore research on visual fields and quality of life, the use of genomics in assessing glaucoma risk, and alternative methods for intraocular pressure (IOP) control.
