Course overview

Manual therapy has long been used as a treatment modality to help decrease pain and improve other patient outcomes in the rehab world. Despite updated research and evidence to the contrary, many clinicians today still cling to the outdated proposed mechanisms they learned early in their career to explain the effects of manual therapy. This course will re-examine these traditional beliefs through the lens of current research, in order to help the attendee develop a more thorough understanding of the benefits of utilizing manual therapy in the clinic.
