Course overview

There is a professional obligation to provide evidence-based myopia management as standard of care for young patients, yet there are still unanswered questions which impact clinical practice. This lecture will outline the latest research on the knowns and unknowns for four arenas in myopia management: ideal candidates; comparing efficacy; gauging success and adult myopia. For each topic, key discussion questions will engage participants to explore this evidence in view of their clinical experiences; leading to actionable advice on the 'knowns' and communication support for the 'unknowns'.
