Course overview
Pr. Efron predicted the demise of corneal lenses (CR) several years ago. He was wrong. Certainly, orthokeratology (OK) and scleral lenses (SL) have contributed to the increase in rigid lens use, but there are still many patients for whom smaller CR lenses remain the best option. As practitioners, it is possible that one of these patients will come in for a consultation. This presentation present cases when CR lenses were preferred and the reasons why. The goal is to give all practitioners the tools they need to prescribe and manage CR lens fits in their daily practice.
