Beyond the Medical Model: Soul Exhaustion & Soul Care

Course overview

Participants will expand their professional understanding of distress and healing by exploring Soul. Exhaustion and soul care as frameworks that complement traditional mental health approaches. This session will strengthen their ability to recognize the deeper impacts of adversity, loss, and disconnection and to incorporate more holistic, person centered language into future clinical and supportive work. This session encourages participants to move beyond a strictly medical model of mental health and consider the deeper existential dimensions of human well being.
