This webinar will introduce the Core Principles of NDT, which integrate theory, evidence, and practice. The Contemporary Practice of NDT, together with the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF), focuses on the value of patient- and family-centered evaluation in guiding individualized interventions and evidence-based practice. A brief overview of the historical development and evolution of the Contemporary Practice of NDT will also be provided. Designed for physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists working with children or adults with neurological dysfunction, this session will include treatment strategies and video demonstrations illustrating the application of NDT Core Principles in clinical practice.
