Tracking # 20-1334909
$99999.00
Course overview
Older adults are more susceptible to oral conditions and diseases due to an increase in chronic conditions, and physical/mental disabilities including dementia. The purpose of this course is to identify many of these problems and address the challenges in treating the aging population. Dental treatment of the geriatric population is a critical part of the health maintenance mechanisms for the elderly and medically compromised individuals. As Baby Boomers are aging, you will see more and more of this age group in your practice. We will discuss treatment options including restorative, periodontal disease, and dental implants as it relates to the aging population.
