Cosmetic Dentistry: Techniques and TMJ Concerns

Course overview

This course will discuss the techniques of effective and quality cosmetic dentistry. We will look at the TMJ's role in cosmetics, as related to proper occlusion to protect our artistry and to help eliminate bruxing. We will also review the proper way to prepare and deliver anterior veneers, direct and indirect composite veneers, and indirect porcelain veneers. Anterior and posterior zirconia crowns, gummy smile treatment (including gingival contouring) gingivectomy, and Botox will be covered. Cosmetic orthodontics, cosmetic implants, and more will also be discussed.
