EMT Refresher Course

Course overview

The Trilogy EMT Refresher is a 40-hour asynchronous online continuing education program for Florida-certified EMTs. The course provides a comprehensive review of current EMT-level knowledge and practice consistent with the U.S. DOT National EMS Education Standards and current clinical guidelines. Content includes airway and respiratory emergencies, cardiovascular care and resuscitation, trauma, medical emergencies, pediatrics, EMS operations, Florida EMS laws and systems of care, disaster and environmental emergencies, and specialty EMS topics. Instruction is delivered through narrated online modules, case-based scenarios, interactive knowledge checks, module examinations, and a comprehensive final examination.
