Serious news and difficult conversations can happen in all optometric settings, and providers can and should equip themselves with the tools and skills to navigate these situations. We've all been in situations where we could have been more effective, empathetic communicators. This presentation will review strategies for communication using a series of cases crowdsourced from our friends in the optometric community.
