Course overview

Good therapists can miss things, especially when overwhelmed, isolated, uncertain, or working within imperfect systems. This interactive workshop explores medical errors and sentinel events within behavioral healthcare, including suicide assessment, documentation, confidentiality, burnout, boundaries, communication and systems of care. We will explore practical prevention strategies and protective resources while combining Florida-required material with discussion, simple action methods and experiential learning.
