LV is defined as violence between individuals at the same level of an organizational hierarchy. LV in nursing can present in various forms, such as an act of aggression that is perpetrated by one nurse against another, and is typically expressed though nonphysical acts. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of LV in nursing, including risk factors, types, and implications of LV. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
