Evidence Based Practice

Course overview

This lesson is designed for Registered nurses in the long term care setting. At the completion of this lesson learners will be able to define evidence based practice, differentiate between evidence based practice and evidence based nursing, describe what makes good evidence, describe the difference between qualitative and quantitative research, discuss the history of evidence based practice in nursing, list implementation barriers, discuss how the INTERACT program utilizes evidence and describe implementation strategies for EBP.
