Course overview

This course explores the role of nutritional counseling in supporting patients during key reproductive and postpartum stages, including those planning a pregnancy, recently giving birth, or transition through the weaning process. The oral health care provider will learn to apply key concepts related to nutrition and oral posture, identify essential nutrients, and understand foundational principles in baby led weaning. By promoting patient education and early intervention the provider will play a critical role for the well-being and patient centered outcomes in oral pediatric health.
