Course overview

Care planning is the next step that flows from the complete assessment or appraisal. There are special considerations in care planning for people with dementia and this course outlines how to make a good care plan as well as proper documentation. After completing this lesson, the student will be able to: define and create a good care plan; identify goals and problems involving care plans; utilize assessment ideas and care planning tips from the Alzheimer's Association.
