CARE118 - This purpose of this course is to familiarize the learner with basic information about infection prevention and control. Information about proper hand hygiene and the use of personal protective equipment is presented. Methods for maintaining a clean work environment and the use of appropriate cleaning solutions are discussed, as well as tactics to minimize potential exposures. The first steps to take in the case of an accidental exposure are reviewed.
