INSTRUMENTAL ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING

Course overview

In this 1 hour course, you will learn how to offer IADLs efficiently and appropriately. After completing this lesson, the student will be able to: recognize the importance of instrumental activities of daily living; take steps for helping clients with the seven basic areas of IADLs; assist client by escorting them to an appointment; and enhance client?s quality of life by incorporating interesting and engaging activities into the Client?s routine that meet the Client?s wants and needs.
