Skin is the body's first defense against infection. Int his 1 hour course, learn to protect your clients' skin against breakdowns and infections with this course. Skin care can contribute to your clients comfort. By understanding how to provide appropriate skin care, you will safeguard yourself and company against abuse and neglect by caring for those in your care with the skills you will learn in this course. After completing this lesson, the student will be able to: keep clients? skin healthy; prevent pressure sores and use pressure reducing devices; and assist clients with the special skin care needs of the elderly population.
