Course overview

In this 1 hour course you will learn about recognizing health concerns during your observation, reporting, and recording process. As a caregiver your skills of observation, reporting and recording are vital to helping the rest of the care team provide the best care possible to your clients. Observation, reporting, and recording are three tools you will use all day, every day of your caregiving career. Sharpen those skills with this class so you can be a fundamental member of the care team. After completing this lesson, the student will be able to: employ skills for good observation ? what to watch for and how to observe; report observations properly; record tasks and observations for best client care; maintain and update client records properly with all critical observations and information; and use observation, appraisal, and expressed wants of the client to formulate a caregiving plan that meets the client?s wants and needs.
