Course overview

The purpose of this course is to help you to understand the factors that create your resident's cultural background and how to incorporate them into the most appropriate care plan for each resident. How cultural factors influence communication in everyday life; how cultural factors and their implications affect interactions with and between the administrator, staff, residents, and families.
