Course overview

This 1 hour course provides a general introduction to medications, explain the different routes that medication can administered, forms and types of medication, and abbreviations commonly used when administering medication to developmentally disabled clients. The learner will understand the basics of medication assistance, including skills for monitoring medication and how to understand medication orders and administration information.
