Course overview

In this 1 hour course you will review basic math skills, measurements and conversions, you need to know to properly dispense medication. This course is a review of basic math skills as well as sharpening of those needed for dispensing medications. It covers measurement as well as conversion, and includes a pre-test for students to review their knowledge, as well as includes resources for further help. After completing this lesson, the student will be able to: understand the importance of math and medication; calculate fractions, decimals, ratios, and measurements; comprehend ratios used in liquid medications; properly dispense medications; accurately measure liquid medications.
