In this 1 hour course, we learn that often, medication can be an integral part of easing a person's discomfort when they are afflicted with Dementia or Alzheimer's. This course will cover what is prescribed to treat dementia, the side-effects, and what causes dementia-like symptoms. Medication is often the best way to alleviate the symptoms of dementia. In this course, you will learn: common medications and general health; benefits versus side effects; review a list of common medications; the commonness of depression amongst those suffering from dementia; and how to use caution when working with prescription medication.
