Course overview

This introductory 1 hour course prepares the learner to understand and begin providing caregiving services to individuals with physical disabilities. Helping your client maintain independence is crucial to the longevity of their abilities. Ability awareness will help you to be a better caregiver to your client. After this lesson, you will: know about several different kinds of physical disabilities; understand the needs of a person with a physical disability; be more prepared to work with a client and or family in which physical disability is an issue.
