Alzheimer?s affects the individual as well as their family. Families expect their loved ones to receive the best care possible, but sometimes the family needs support as well. This course discusses the best ways to help families cope and understand memory loss. After completing this lesson, the student will be able to: understand what the family members of a person with Alzheimer's are experiencing; and utilize methods to help the families cope with changes in their loved one.
