Course overview

This is an On-Demand webcast in Molecular Diagnostics and offers 1 continuing education (CME/CMLE) credit, that can be used to fulfill MOC Part II and CMP requirements. As we consider the value of this technology in this patient population, we must consider aspects of hematologic conditions, such as mosaicism, the possibility of multiple clonal populations, the prevalence of clinically relevant balanced rearrangements and intragenic mutations, the identification of imbalances of unknown clinical significance, and the design and detection limitations of array platforms. This presentation will highlight the utility and challenges of this technology in both the constitutional and hematologic setting, including a discussion of compatibility with other genetic technologies.
