MANAGING PAIN

Course overview

This 2 hour lesson discusses monitoring pain and using observations to help care for clients. Upon completion of this online activity, the participant should be able to: define pain; identify factors that affect pain; correctly observe & collect responses about pain; state information to report to the nurse concerning the client?s pain; describe actions the caregiver can take to reduce the client?s pain.
