Course overview

TSG evaluates the emergency medicine malpractice experience each year. In the last few years there has been an increasing number of lawsuits against emergency nurses related to stroke. Therefore we have added stroke to the TSG Core 1 series. Many of the cases are related to the administration or the alleged 'failure to administer' a lytic agent, but the cases cover a broad spectrum that is covered in two programs, Stroke Part 1 and Stroke Part 2. This is a critical high-risk area for emergency nurses. The two courses should be taken in order.
