DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Course overview

During this course, we will talk about ways to identify risk factors for domestic violence as well as identify abusers and victims and communicate interventions that would assist the victims of domestic violence. By the end of this course, you should be able to define domestic violence; identify characteristics of abusers; discuss issues that make it difficult to identify victims in the healthcare system; and identify interventions that can help victims of domestic violence.
