This course is a compilation of first aid and emergency response advice from multiple credible services. It is designed to be a primer for how to re-act in an emergency situation. It is not designed to substitute for medical care from a licensed professional. This course covers the basics of first aid with most of the most common medical emergencies that one might encounter in the workplace. This course covers the contents of a first aid kit as well as how to determine how to customize first aid supplies. The course reviews AED devices, heart attacks and CPR. It also includes recommended response to burns, electrical shocks and other emergency situations. This course is appropriate for all levels of employee as a review of first aid. It is not designed to replace medical care from a licensed professional, but rather to assist non-medically trained personnel in how to respond.
