CARE OF THOSE WITH DISABILITIES: THE CLIENT WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY
Tracking # 20-457213
Course overview
The Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities has mandated that 4 hours of annual in-service training or continuing education must be completed by direct care workers giving care to those with disabilities, and be related to the specific needs of at least one recipient being currently served by the direct care worker. (See Appendix C of the iBudget Handbook.) This course has been created to expand the skills of those giving direct care and attendance to clients with intellectual disabilities and to meet this educational requirement and general CE requirements.
