Course overview

ACL injury has an annual incidence of more than 200,000 cases with ~100,000 of these knees reconstructed annually. While a good percentage of these affect athletes at every level, anyone can suffer this debilitating injury. This course incorporates an algorithmic approach for efficient and effective rehabilitation after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. Whether working with adolescents, elite athletes, weekend warriors, or worker-athletes, this session helps practitioners choose appropriate therapeutic interventions based on patient presentation and patient goals. The course also provides insights into bracing, non-surgical interventions of ACL-deficient individuals, and ACL injury prevention.
