Course overview

Musculoskeletal conditions of the foot, hip and ankle are a serious public health challenge, due in no small part to their increasing prevalence and their significant impact on patients¿ quality of life. This course focuses on musculoskeletal complaints and conditions of the hip, groin foot and akle areas in adults and provides therapists with diagnostic tips and treatment recommedations. Intra-articular and extra-articular syndromes of the hip and groin are discussed as well as Achilles tendinopathy, chronic ankle instability, metatarsal stress fractures, and posterior tibial tendon dysfunction. Dr. Armitage also explores relevant anatomy, diagnostic pearls, and recent trends in rehabilitation of the foot and ankle.
