PRACTICAL PATHOLOGY FOR MASSAGE THERAPISTS

Course overview

This course is a study of diseases specific to various bodily systems (Integumentary, Cardiovascular, Skeletal, Muscular, etc) from the point of view of a massage therapist. Topics to be covered also include conditions that contraindicate massage and common ailments that therapists are likely to encounter over the course of a career (Sciatica, TMJD, Sleep Disorders and Fibromyalgia), but might not have been covered in-depth in their initial massage education.
