Providing culturally competent (CC) spiritual care for Amish patients in a healthcare setting refers to performing supportive strategies that promote the patient¿s ability to maintain his/her spiritual beliefs and practices while receiving medical care. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of providing CC spiritual care to Amish patients including why this is important, and how to provide CC spiritual care. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
