AGING NURSING WORKFORCE: MANAGING

Course overview

The nursing workforce is aging and the impending retirement of many nurses is expected to contribute greatly to the predicted global shortage of nurses. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of managing the aging nursing workforce, including information on the importance of retaining aging nurses at the bedside, factors contributing to nurses leaving the workforce, and efforts to retain aging nurses. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
