CASE MANAGEMENT: PRENATAL CARE

Course overview

Prenatal care is a public health priority. Prenatal care is necessary to maintain a healthy pregnancy and decrease the risk for complications that can result in maternal and/or fetal mortality. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of the importance of prenatal care, particularly for pregnant women considered at high risk, and the use of case management as a component of prenatal care. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
